Met on Mt. Moon (level 22) | October 26th, 2018 Shoto hadn't intended to end up with a Murkrow but Mischief Night had other plans for him. This particular bird sought him out after following the boy to Cerulean City, watching as he and Hope started to prepare for the holiday and their trick-or-treating exploits. He finally approached when they began their adventures that night with a bag of his own held in his beak, falling in step with Shoto and his crew like he was always meant to be there and well, apparently he was.
Yami, as Shoto ended up calling him, is an overly serious Pokemon that doesn't seem to understand humor--which makes him a pretty good match for Shoto honestly. He prefers to focus on what's important, like training and traveling, and has a tendency to over think things at times. Yami is also very determined to learn how to talk and seems to have taken a liking to poetry especially, constantly trying to recite things though it often comes out as squawks rather than actual words. He'll eventual get it though. He just needs more practice!
